For Christmas this year we let Mercedes get her ears pierced. She has been begging for years and we tested her with a list of things that she needed to do everyday... (hygiene-wise) and she kept at it for a long time showing us that she was old enough to take care of her ears.
The only rule at this point is that the earrings must be studs until she is older.
She is so cute with these little flowers!

Well gosh darn it! She has some pretty nice parents. LOL MY parents made me wait until I was 16! Now I can only wear a pair for a few hours anyway. Metal and I don't go together very well.
